Obituary of Gordon W. Ethridge

ETHRIDGE, Gordon W. - Passed peacefully away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario on Monday, July 5, 2010, Rev. Gordon W. Ethridge of Harbour Grace South, age 88 years. Predeceased by wife, Betty, sister, Hazel, and granddaughter, Elizabeth. Leaving behind, three daughters: Diane (Michael) Thompson, Mount Hope, Ontario, Kathryn (Philip) Noll, Caledonia, Ontario and Susan Ethridge, Ontario; grandchildren: Sarah(Allan), Simon(Andrea), Rachel (Joshua), Matthew (Elyse), Rebekah, Jonathan, Tyler, Michaela, Gordon, and Jessica; great grandchildren: James, Aliya, and Adalyn; brother: George (Audrey), New South Wales, Australia; sisters: Elsie Forsey, Mount Pearl and Marion Miller, Mount Pearl; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace with visitation hours by request of the family on Thursday, July 8th 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, July 9th 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 10th 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, July 10th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace South. Interment in St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace South.
