The summer of 2009 will hold special memories in many hearts. Rod was here at our home along with Uncle Larry. Watching the three brothers was priceless. Seeing Rod "wink", Harold laugh and Larry get pissed off was a hoot and then tables turn and Larry have the last laugh. The years of cards and drinking are long gone, but the jokes and pranks will never die! Rod loved his pranks! It is the memories that outlast a lifetime and it is the summer of 2009 and their "summer project" that everyone who was a part of will have a laugh with Rod in their memories. Love you Uncle Rod... Sweet Dreams

Aunt Julie and family, It is only in the passing of a fun-loving Uncle that we know he suffers no more. Uncle Roddy was "one of a kind". To always remember who he was and how he lived and loved life, his family, brothers and sisters and friends is what we all will miss. Joining his loved ones who have now eternal LIFE will be his new happiness. Personally, it was always an adventure to hang out with him at Uncle Harolds. No matter how he was feeling he was always a lot of fun! His "YA RIGHT" was Uncle Roddy. You will be missed, yet remembered by all as THE NEWFEY" of New Foundland. Aunt Julie, Robert and family our prayers and thoughts are with you all. Love Always, Dave and Diana Marino and Family.

Aunt Julie & family, I am so sorry for your loss of Rod. He was a great man, and will be missed terribly. For my uncle Rod. I will always remember your laugh, your sense of humor, your generous heart, and the love you had for those around you. You were a prankster, and a lover of life. You would give anything of yourself to help others, regardless if they were family, or friends. You were always such an important person to me, and I am so glad that you knew I love you dearly. I cannot begin to express my sadness, and sense of loss, but I'm trying hard to keep focused on the good times, the fun, and the memories. I know you'd want us to be laughing and playing cards, and remembering the supportive, loving, hard-working, funny, 'pot-stirrer', friend/uncle/brother/husband/son/father/grandpa/great grandpa you were. Uncle Rod's smile will never be forgotten. Goodbye "Buddy" much love, Kimberly, Kurt, Patrick, Michaela, & Taylor

To the Family: We mourn with you in the passing of the very kind and gentle man that was Rod Demarce. We had many occasion to visit his restaurant and were always met with the most friendly attitude a person could hope for. The Bible tells us that in times of great sorrow and grief, He is there to comfort and care for us. May the family find strength in His Word and solace in His tender mercies. Wanda And Eugene White

Julie & Family My heart is aching for you all right now. We have lost a dear dear friend. All the years I've known Rod he has always been so pleasant, kind & "happy go lucky". He is a man I am truely blessed to have called friend & I am honored he considered me one. When We loose a loved one we tend to explore their lives in our thoughts , we think about who they were, the kind of person they were & perhaps the effect they had on our very own lives. Well, today as I remembered Rod, This little Poem spilled from my heart to the paper, it's entitled, "who was Rod?" Who Was Rod? Kind, Caring & Friend A Wonderful Man A Marvelous Friend. To All That He Knew A Kind Word Was Spoken A Smile Shone So Bright So Many Hearts Now Are Broken. But His Pain Now Is Gone He Is Peaceful At Rest I Have Always Heard "God Only Takes The Best" So My Dearest Rod Although You Are Gone Your Fond LOving Memory Will Forever LIve On. Thank You For Being My Friend Sincerly Gennie, Adam & Sammi
