Obituary of Anne Connor Sheppard

Anne Connor Sheppard passed peacefully away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at her home in Harbour Grace at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by her husband David ‘Dink’ Sheppard; father: George Edward Connor; mother: Pauline Jones Connor. Left to celebrate her life are her beloved boys: Jonathan, Harley (Emily & grandson Owen), and Mitchel; sisters: Cathy and Claire; brother: Don. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Michelle and Dave Stephens who aided Anne during the last years of her life. Anne enjoyed Michelle's daily visits and the banter during their cribbage matches. We will always remember what you did for our mother and will forever be indebted to you; Chris and Dave Gill for always making her a part of the family during the holidays; Karen and Bill Babb for being great family friends from the moment the Sheppard’s arrived in Harbour Grace some 33 years ago; also, to the Rummoli Club for being lifetime friends of the family. Reminiscing, we can easily hear the loud laughter of you all playing cards, having the time of your lives. An Irish Wake will take place Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Cold Water Restaurant, 218 Water Street, Carbonear from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
