Obituary of Muriel D. Thorne

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, Muriel D. Thorne of Carbonear, age 97 years. Predeceased by husband: Curtis F.; parents: James and Emmie Brown; five infant brothers; sister: Mildred. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Marilyn Mayo and son-in-law: Lonas Mayo, Burin; two grandchildren: Barry Curtis and Jill Noelle (Curt); two great-grandchildren: Curtis and Kendra; also a number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., DUE TO WEATHER FORECAST, THERE WILL BE NO 7:00 TO 9:00 P.M. VISITATION. Saturday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, March 26 at 2:30 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, P.O.
