Marilyn and family, we are deeply saddened hear of your mothers passing. She has been a special friend to our family for over 50 years, first when we lived on Bell Island and than In Carbonear when we were Station there as Corp Officers. She was a very kind, gracious , gentle lady who inspired many, just by the way she lived her life. The world was a better place because of the lives of your Mom and Dad. They are now re-united, and their influences lives on in their family and friends. Let us not forget that those we love don't go away_ They walk beside us everyday; unseen- unheard but always near. Sorry to hear of Mrs. Thornes passing, she was a great grandmother to Barry & Jill and a great support to her only daughter Marilyn. She lived a healthy & long life. May she rest in peace.
