Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, October 27, 2022, Joan Butt of Victoria, age 80 years.
Predeceased by husband: Graham; parents: Silas and Mary Butt; parents-in-law: Joseph and Rella Butt; sisters-in-law: Inez Moores, Dola Callan, Daphne Colbourne, and Mae Butt.
Leaving to mourn, partner: Albert King; two daughters: Daisy (Melvin) Peach, Adam’s Cove and Judy (Scott) Bishop, Cambridge, ON; son Darren ( Danielle), Sylvan Lake, AB; six grandchildren: Stephen (Tamara), Stacey (Corey), Zachary, Matthew, Kaitlyn ( Nathen), and Kelsey; three great-grandchildren: Ava, Jada, and Aleah; four brothers: David, Hubert (Audrey), Arthur (Virginia), and Ray (Karen); two sisters: Pauline (Leslie) Parsons and Joyce (Dave) Hubbard; three special children: Kobe, Mason, and Ciara; lifetime friend: Kay Butt; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.; 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
Interment in the United Cemetery, Perry's Cove.
