Obituary of Jessie Horwood

Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, January 25, 2021, Jessie L. Horwood of Carbonear, age 98 years.
Predeceased by husband: Cyril; brothers: Clarence and Frank; sister: Winnifred (Mike); infant sister: Annie.
Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Eleanor (Clinton) Bernaiche, South Carolina, USA; two sons: Don (Jill), Victoria, BC and Calvin (Carol), Carbonear; seven grandchildren: Michelle (Chris), Robert, Christopher (Irene), Kelly, Jamie (Melanie), Andrew (Lindsay), and Carolyn (Mitchell); nine great-grandchildren: Ashley, Lindsay, Kiyomi, Kai, Hayley, Kaylee, Alyssa, Brooke, and Kale; sister-in-law: Doris Thorne; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear, followed by funeral service on Friday, January 29 from Bethany United Church, Carbonear, by invitation only. Interment in Bethany United Church Cemetery, Carbonear.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Bethany United Church, 2 Church Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
