Condolences are offered to “Nan’s” children Don, Eleanor ,Cal & their families. Nan’s life was long and happy and her late years were quiet and contented with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, a good reminder of how blessed she was, that along with the success of each of her children, was her pride & joy. Both Nan and I connected in a way many would not think possible. Nan had a sense of humor! Many times we laughed together at some nonsense her & I only recognized. Nan, well done. Now you go to rest and may that rest be as you were in life, peaceful. God Bless, Cyril and Bev Forward

Our deepest condolences on the passing of Jessie “Nan” Horwood. Nan was a special, lovely lady and will be missed. She was a surrogate grandmother to my two boys and a friend to all of us. One of my best memories is picking blueberries with Nan one summer. May she Rest In Peace. ❤️

One of my favourite memories of Aunt Jessie is when I called her she would automatically say”Come on over I am ready to go “! We would often take road trips whether they were 4 hours long or just go for an ice cream . Both of us thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company ! We rarely made plans only if she had an appointment! We would head out on our excursion! For the past three years those wonderful trips came to an end! But we still chatted and reminisced a lot! I would still treat her with ice cream, or a meal and she especially loved my steamed partridge berry pudding and rum sauce! We were always there for each other! The last day I visited her at the hospital she told me she loved me and all of us! We all know she certainly did! Don , Eleanor , Cal and families —-I am sure you will miss this sweet lady dearly ! Please accept my heartfelt condolences!
