Passed suddenly away at his residence on Thursday, January 9, 2020, George Burke of Victoria, age 63 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Mary Burke. Leaving to mourn, mother: Freda Evely; brothers: Roland 'Dan' (Mary) Burke, Phillip and Dennis Evely; sisters: Mary (Fred) Butt, Gloria (Elihu) Antle, Dorothy (Allan) Day, Gloria (Brian) McCarthy, Patricia (Calvin) Smith, and Sherri (Gregory) Butt; very special friends: Gary and Debbie Antle and their children; also mourning his loss are his many nieces, nephews and other friends too numerous to mention. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, January 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date.
