Obituary of Cecil Murray

MURRAY, Cecil- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, January 9, 2007, Cecil Murray of Carbonear, age 94 years. Predeceased by wife: Marcie, two sons: Charles and Llewellyn and infant children. Leaving to mourn, six daughters: Aseanath Murray, Toronto, Ontario, Florence (Bill) Starkes, Ramona Krone, Margaret Murray (Ches Gorman) and Beulah Murray (David Somerton), all of St. John's and Sharon (Byron) Allison, Red Deer, Alberta; four sons: Ken (Madonna), Carbonear, Jim (Rhonda), St. John's, Fred and Myles (Daphne), both of Carbonear; thirty-eight grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Friday, January 12. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
