PIKE, Hubert 'Roy' - Passed peacefully away at his residence on Monday, May 19, 2003, Hubert 'Roy' Pike of Harbour Grace, age 70 years. Predeceased by sons: Ronald and Sean; granddaughter: Seanna Leanne; brother: Gerald; parents: George and Violet. Leaving to mourn wife: Rosemarie; three daughters: Dorothy (Adrian) Mitchell, Colleen (Gordon) Penney and Andrea (Karl) Pye all of Harbour Grace; one son: Roy (Janet), Harbour Grace; one foster-daughter: Yvonne French, Harbour Grace; thirteen grandchildren: Jamie, Kristen, David, Sean, Maggie, Darlene, Tyler, Brandon, Chesley, Chelsea, Jennifer, Andrea Lynn and Donna (Tom); two great-grandchildren: Austin and Taylor; six brothers: Doug (Una), Arthur (Susie), Rendell (Mary), David (Helen) and Lorne (Marie), all of Harbour Grace and George (Grace), Harbour Grace South; four sisters: Mary (Duncan) Hunt, Ruth (Edward) McCarthy, and Joyce (Frank) Parrott, all of Harbour Grace and Violet (William) Sheppard, Harbour Grace South; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace until 12:00 noon Thursday, May 22. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Coughlan United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
