LYNCH, Edith- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, January 17, 2006, Edith Lynch of Carbonear; formerly of Harbour Grace, age 81 years. Predeceased by parents: Joseph and Alice; brothers: Ted and Nathaniel; sisters: Mary Ann, Jessie and Hannah. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Alice (George) King, Carbonear; one son: Cecil (Ruby), British Columbia; six grandchildren: Kelly (Edward), George (Mary Lynn), Jason (Michelle), Jeffery (Melissa), Renee and Michelle; five great-grandchildren: Reanna, Jordan, Jamie, Jesse and Calin Joseph; one sister: Sadie Chafe, Hamilton, ON; sisters-in-law: Hazel Lynch and Cecilia Lynch, both of Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Thursday, January 19. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Edith Lynch Memorial Fund.
