PARSONS, Shirley M.( nee Mercer) - Passed Suddenly away at her residence on Monday, December 26, 2005, Shirley M. Parsons (nee mercer) of Victoria, age 53 years. Predeceased by infant daughter: Paula; parents: Michael and Violet; two brothers: Joseph and John; nephew: Daniel; nieces: Melissa and Theresa. Leaving to mourn, husband: Benjamin; one son: Scott (Patsy), Shearstown; three grandchildren: Amanda, Michael and Ashley; one great-grandson: Scott; five brothers: George Mercer, Toronto, David (Kathleen) Mercer, Harbour Grace, Tom (Phoebe) Mercer, Riverhead, Harbour Grace, Bill Mercer, St. John's and Stanley (Naomi) Mercer, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; four sisters: Ennett Dewer, London, Sadie (Ron) Peddle, Spaniard's Bay, Violet Wilcox (Russ Farrell), Toronto, ON and Kathleen (Ron) Lynch, Upper Island Cove; brothers-in-law: Lloyd (Christine), Victoria, John (Helen), Riverhead, Harbour Grace, Gerald (Marguerite), Kitchener, ON, Roy (Shirley), Victoria and Joseph (Mary Lou), Seagrave, ON; sisters-in-law: Alice (John) Peckham, Georgina (Roy) White and Mary (Everett) Baldwin, all of Victoria and Glenda (Reg) Byrne, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE after 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 30 and until 12:00 noon Saturday, December 31. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Shirley M. Parsons Memorial Fund.
