STEVENSON, Ronald F. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, Ronald F. Stevenson of Harbour Grace, age 68 years. Retired Coast Guard Employee. Predeceased by parents: George and Susie; granddaughter: Victoria Susan Verge and sister: Margaret. Leaving to mourn, wife: Elizabeth; two daughters: Valerie (Blair) Verge, Medicine Hat, AB and Rhonda Smith (Ryan Brower), Sylvan Lake, AB; one step-son: Eric (Denise Sommers), Brampton, ON; four grandchildren: Cody, Joshua, Dylan and Adam; one sister: Phyllis (Ike) Walters, Port aux Basques; brothers-in-law: Oral (Martina) Sommers and Lloyd (Winnie) Sommers, both of Victoria and Chesley Gosse, Whitbourne; sisters-in-law: Margaret (John) Penney, Mount Pearl, Jeanette (Boyd) Ralph, Port de Grave, Olive (Malcolm) Fergason, Brampton, ON, Phyllis (William) Rumbolt, Coley's Point, Florence (David) Sheppard and Velma Antle (Jens Havmand), both of Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, September 18 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the St. Paul's Anglican Church.
