KING, Rector 'Rick'- Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Monday, August 23, 2010, Rector 'Rick' King of Carbonear, age 58 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Edith. Leaving to mourn his loving wife: Pauline; one daughter: Pam (Reg) Parsons, Corner Brook; two sons: Brian (Jennilee), Carbonear and Brad (Sara), Edmonton, AB; two adoring grandsons: Noah and Luke; two brothers: Cyril (Vivian), Buchans and Derek, Mount Pearl; one sister: Helen (Max) Badcock, Mount Pearl; uncle: Leslie (Nita) Chubbs, Carbonear; aunts: Mildred King, Corner Brook, Winnie Soper, Hant's Harbour and Julie May King, Perry's Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Friday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Diabetes Association or to Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
