PIKE, Edward W.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, July 25, 2010, Edward W. Pike of Harbour Grace, age 76 years. Predeceased by 1st wife: Ena V.; parents: Eugene and Bertha: grandson: James Seguin; sister: Louise Mosdell; brothers: Clayton, Gerald and Arthur. Leaving to mourn, wife: Gertrude; two daughters: Yvonne (Kenneth) Parsons, Harbour Grace South and Nancy (Neil) Branton, St. John's; step-daughter: Deborah (Walter) Linthorne, Upper Island Cove; son: Bruce, St. John's; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother: Cyril (Mae), Bay Roberts; three brothers-in-law: Oscar Mosdell, Bay Roberts, Eric (Gloria) Bishop, Gander and William (Daphne) Bishop, Coley's Point; sister-in-law: Marjorie Pike, Grand Bank; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in the United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
