POWELL, Blanche E. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, June 16, 2010, Blanche E. Powell of Victoria, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband: Albert J. and sister: Dora. Leaving to mourn, sister: Ruby Summers, Victoria; niece: Elaine Moore, Carbonear; nephews: Paul Summers, Calgary, AB, Gary (Effie) Summers, Fort McMurray, AB, Neil Summers, Calgary, AB and Harold (Cavelle) Clarke, Toronto, ON; sister-in-law: Marion Carnie, Toronto, ON; brother-in-law: Hector (Alliene) Powell, Toronto, ON; special friend: Glenys Vaters, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place Saturday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Cemetery, Victoria.
