KING, Freeman J.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, May 7, 2010, Freeman J. King of Carbonear, age 72 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Margaret; three brothers: George, Ralph and Melvin; one sister: Marjorie Agnew; brothers-in-law: Albert King, Albert Crann and Rob Slade. Leaving to mourn, wife: Ursula; five sons: Winston, Carbonear, Randy (Leona), Freshwater, Carbonear, Derrick (Linda) and Rick (Sharon), both of Upper Island Cove and Baxter, Carbonear; seven grandchildren: Susan (Geoff), Tammy Lee (Patrick), Brandon, Samantha, Ricky, Michael and Kyle; two great-grandchildren: Zachery and Amelia; one brother: Victor (Ruby), Carbonear; four sisters: Tilda Crann, Fair Haven, Gladys (Guy) Thoms, Carbonear, Gloria Badcock and Cynthia King, both of Victoria; one brother-in-law: Walter (Joan) Butt, Pouch Cove; sisters-in-law: Barb King, Carbonear, Patsy King, Victoria and Frances Slade, Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, May 9 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
