NICHOLL, Albert Otto Homer - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, March 20, 2010, Albert Otto Homer Nicholl of Carbonear, age 86 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Rohanna sisters: Louise and Annie; brothers: Charles and Francis. Leaving to mourn, wife: Kezia 'Kay'; daughter: Shirley (Lester) Matchim, Paradise; two sons: David (Marjorie), Sop's Arm and Bruce (Robin), Pasadena; seven grandchildren: Cathy (Albert), David (Kirsty), Jonathan (Amy), Sheldon, John, Mark and Laura; four great-grandchildren: Joshua, Samantha (Darren), Hayley and Nathan; one great-great-grandchild: Riley; three brothers: Alex, Harbour Grace, John (Joan), Glace Bay, NS and Hayward (Betty), LeDuc, AB; sister: Jean Walsh, Carbonear; brothers-in-law: Blount Abbott (Doris) and John Abbott, both of Bonavista; sisters-in-law: Shirley Mouland and Melita (Raymond) Short, both of Bonavista; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 22. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
