STONE, Walter W.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, February 19, 2010, Walter W. Stone of Harbour Grace, age 80 years. Predeceased by wife: Marguerite; daughter: Glenna; brothers: Clarence, Donald, Freeman, Simeon, Roland and Gordon; sisters: Rose, Gladys and Florence. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Judy (Gerald) O'Keefe, Mobile; one son: Walter M. (Amy), Harbour Grace; nine grandchildren: Corrinne, Renee, Jason, Jeffrey, Jody, Stephen, Richard, Terry and Dion; four great-grandchildren: Ellie Marguerite, Janna, Tristan and Alexander Jason; one brother: Francis (Rose) Stone, Harbour Grace South; sisters-in-law: Ethel Stone, Harbour Grace and Betty Scrimshaw, Cambridge, ON; brother-in-law: Thomas (Beulah) Farrell, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, February 21 at 2:30 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place on Tuesday, February 23 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
