Don't think of Hattie as gone away. her journey's just begun. Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one. Just think of her as resting from the sorrow and the tears. In a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days or years. Think how she must be wishing that we could know today, How nothing but or sadness can really pass away. Think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched, Because nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much. Our prayers are with you all. The Roberts Fergus ON

To Randell, my sister Mary and The Tarrant Families. We are so sorry to hear of Mrs. Tarrants passing. She was a wonderful lady. Whenever we would go to her house to visit with Mary and Randell when they would be home on a holiday, she would always make us feel at home. No one would ever go away hungry, because she would have the kettle on and the table set as soon as we would open the door. Remember the good times and wonderful memories that you had with her to help you through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love Curtis and Karen Clarke and family, Edmonton,Alberta.

Dear Joan, Rod, Stephanie & Steven, We were so sorry to hear of your remarkable Mom's (Nan's) passing. She was a wonder from the first time we met her when she so willingly babysat Stephanie & Ryan (both 4 mos. old!) for our get-away weekend - to the last time we met at her home for a cup of tea. What a beautiful person! We are thinking of you all & our prayers are with you during this sad time .... love you.

Oh Nanny...just reading through the condolences made by so many others and the beautiful things they all have to say. I wish I could have run over cookies when I was a little girl. I wish we could have had so many more memories then we did, but the miles between us never allowed for that. One thing I know is I hope I grow to be a strong and well respected woman as you did. You've touched so many lives with your gentle kindness. I was given your name and I intend to cherish that and be proud. I can only hope that one day I can leave this world with the respect that you have. You were an incredible soul and a blessing to the family....the Queen Mom. I'll think of you often in the years ahead and hold you close to my heart. I'll look to you as my Guardian Angel forever. I love you and you'll be so missed. You never had all the material things of life but you shared so much by just being the person your were. Which reminds me of this verse from one of my favorite songs.. I may not ever hold a brush that paints a masterpiece I'll probably never hold a pen that writes a symphony But if I will love then I will find that I have touched another life and that something worth leaving behind thinking of you today and always Marina

To the family of Mrs. Tarrant, It is with my deepest sympathy that I write this message to your family. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. I was one of the lucky people that got to know and love such a fine lady. She was very much like a grandmother figure to me. From my early childhood I can remember doing interviews with her for school assignments, and her welcoming me every time I visited to play with Stephanie. We would spend hours playing with perfume bottles on her table. She would cater to our every need. Now as an adult I still go to visit her from time to time with my own children. I am honored that they too got to know her. Many times I would speak to my grandmother and she would say "Mrs. Tarrant asked about you and the children today". Amazing she with such a large family of her own but thought about mine! She was a dear friend to my grandmother, and nan enjoyed every tea time they shared together. Mrs. Tarrant will always hold a special place in my heart. I have many fond memories of her that I will Cherish forever and be sure to tell my kids about. This passed September we visited and she wanted to have a picture taken with my new baby girl. I will hold tight to this picture letting my daughter know all about such a great women. Thank you God for blessing me with the chance to know this wonderful person. God Bless, Sherry(Rose)Forward

to the family of Mrs. Tarrant, Growing up on the hill, everyone knew Mrs. Tarrant. I cannot count the times I knocked on her door for something to drink and some cookies when I was a little girl. She was like a grandmother figure to a lot of us...always welcomed us into her home to have a chit chat and some goodies. Even in her years, she would still remembered me, the little girl Rose with the long red hair...she was so loving and caring. She will be missed... May God bless her and keep her forever...I will always hold close my memories of her... she will always be a prominent figure in my childhood memories.. Shannon Rose-Humber
