PIKE, Doris- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home on Sunday, December 13, 2009, Doris Pike of Harbour Grace, age 92 years. Predeceased by husband: George; parents: Henry and Lydia King; brothers: Wallace and Cyril King; sisters: Julia Butt, Beatrice King, Myrtle Burden and Melvina Whalen. Leaving to mourn, sisters-in-law: Winnie Pike, Clarke's Beach; Hazel Yetman, Iva Pike and Jean Dove all of Harbour Grace and Margaret King, Grafton, Mass., USA; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, December 15 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. No flowers by request, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Doris's memory may be made to Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace.
