JEFFERS, Florence M.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital, on Sunday, December 6, 2009, Florence M. Jeffers of Carbonear, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: Alex D.; brother: William Parrell; sister: Jean Pike and niece: Frances O'Connell. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Lynn (Eugene) Jeffers-Blake, Carbonear; grandson: Jordan Alex Paul Moores, Carbonear; brother: Frederick Oates, Botwood; sister: Shirley (William) Carey, St. John's; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 9 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Florence's memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the SPCA.
