Obituary of William 'Billy' Doyle

DOYLE, William J. 'Billy'- Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Friday, November 20, 2009, William J. 'Billy' Doyle of Gull Island, age 57 years. Predeceased by mother: Johanna Doyle; brother: Neil. Leaving to mourn, father: Thomas Doyle, Gull Island; his life partner: Kay Oliver and her children: Shirley Oliver, Clarenville formerly of Gull Island, Johnny Oliver (Ashley) and Tammy Oliver (Mike), both of Old Perlican, Michael Oliver (Melissa), Alberta and Bob (Bonnie) Cox, Harbour Breton; ten grandchildren; especially his pride and joy, Melani; nieces, nephews, especially Tommy MacDonald; two brothers: Bernard, Gull Island and Adrian (Rondelle), St. John's; three sisters: Annie Jane (Tony) MacDonald, Gull Island, Edna Doyle, St. John's and Becky (Eddie) Murphy, Burnt Point; uncles: Mark Delaney, Stephenville and Will Joe Delaney, Gull Island; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway,Western Bay. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, November 23 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Northern Bay. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Billy Doyle Memorial Fund.
