CLARKE, Hilda- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, Hilda Clarke of Victoria, age 84 years. Predeceased by husband: Alexander; son-in-law: Chesley King; brother: Berkley. Leaving to mourn, six daughters: Melvina King and Zena (Augustus) Slade, both of Victoria, Ina (Raymond) Minna, Brantford, ON, Mary (David) Carpenter, Harbour Grace, Pauline (Hector) King, Perry's Cove and Paulette (Randy) Worthman, Heart's Delight; three sons: Lional (Emma), Carbonear, Lloyd (Rosemary) and Bertrum, both of Victoria; fifteen grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; one brother: Warren (Isabell) Rose, Baie Verte; four sisters: Marie Thomas, Phyllis (Lloyd) Ivany, Bernice (Richard) and Daphne Crummey, all of ON; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, November 14 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria.
