Obituary of Hubert Trickett

TRICKETT, Hubert - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, June 21, 2009, Hubert Trickett of Small Point; formerly of Spout Cove, age 94 years. Predeceased by wife: Phyllis L.; granddaughter: Katrina; parents: Elijah and Bessie; sisters: Alfreda, Mary and Mildred; brother: Lewis. Leaving to mourn, three sons: Winston (Joan), Carbonear, Byron (Brenda) and Roy (Sharon), both of St. John's; seven grandchildren: Jason, Janice (Jim), Kimberley, Ricky (Tanya), Rocky, Simone (Tim) and Ramona; five great-grandchildren: Paige, Duncan, Nigel, Eve and Keely; brother: Gilbert (Wilhemina), Long Pond; sister: Joyce Whalen, Western Bay; sister-in-law: Joyce Trickett, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, MAIN HIGHWAY, WESTERN BAY. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, June 24 at 2:00 p.m. from Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Interment in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Ocean View United Church Trustee Board, Broad Cove or the Janeway Children's Hospital, St. John's.
