DOYLE, Mary R.- Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Monday, February 9, 2009, Mary R. Doyle of Gull Island, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband: Neil; parents: Patrick and Theresa Delaney; son: Brendan; sisters-in-law: Pauline and Hazel. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Josephine (Lloyd) Lush, Yellowknife; five sons: Gerard (Mary), Edwin (Wanda) and David all of Gull Island, Danny (Donna), Brampton, ON, Luke (Valerie), Old Perlican; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four brothers: Patrick Delaney, Michael Delaney, both of Gander, Dominic (Ann) Delaney, Mark (Agatha) Delaney, both of Gull Island; two sisters: Elizabeth (Frank) Power, Caplin Cove, Dorothy (Bill) Ellis, Indiana, USA; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral Mass to take place Thursday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Northern Bay. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Mary R. Doyle Memorial Fund.
