Mae,Brenda,Sharon,Audrey and all the family. A good neighbor is someone you never forget and when Roland lived on Thomey Place Mount Pearl he reached out to everyone. He had a great sense of humor and he was a loyal fan of the New York Rangers. He was a great craftsman and hard worker.Roland took time and showed me how to use a hammer in fixing fence posts and he built the front steps to our house. He was a great friend and family man and I know I speak for my wife Annette and our son Patrick that we too are saddened by his loss.Even though I havent seen Roland for a few years we have missed him dearly from our street.Mae,Sharon and Brenda our symapthy goes out to you at this sad time but like all of the family we have some great memories of a great humble man who really loved his family and helped his neighbors. You know in some ways that is really is what life is about. From Michael,Annette and Patrick Boyle. 6 THOMEY PLACE. Mount Pearl

Sorry to hear of Rolls passing, even though I haven't been in close contact over the past few years, I have many fond memories of him while living and visiting aunt Nellie and uncle Toms with my parents in Badgers Quay. My sincere sympathy to his wife and children as well as Audrey/Andy. It sadens me as I realize that another link in our family chain has been broken. Maurice Gillingham (2nd cousin).
