GREEN, Wm. Lawrence - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, Wm. Lawrence Green of Carbonear; formerly of Hant's Harbour, age 93 years. Predeceased by brothers: Harold, Walter, Gordon and Raymond; sister: Lillian. Leaving to mourn, wife: Lillian Barbara; one brother: Melvin (Eleanor), Hant's Harbour; one sister: Ethel Green, Hant's Harbour; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours on Thursday, January 1 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Then resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Winterton on Friday, January 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Friday, January 2 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Winterton. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Hant's Harbour. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery, Hant's Harbour.
