ROSE, Ewart G. - Passed suddenly away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Thursday, November 27, 2008, Ewart G. Rose of Western Bay; formerly of Salmon Cove, age 61 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Clara, brother: Wilson and brother-in-law: William Piercey. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Natasha (Curtis), St. John's; grandson: Nathan; brother: Bramwell (Shirley), Victoria; five sisters: Minnie Piercey, North Sydney, NS, Bessie (Albert) Noel, Carbonear, Audrey (Garfield) Crowley, Western Bay, Edna (Alan) Lambert, Salmon Cove and Jocelyn (Dave) King, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Monday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Ewart G. Rose Memorial Fund.
