ROSE, Hubert- Dad left us from the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex, St. John's on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at the age of 84 years to be reunited with our precious pap and nan: John and Naomi Rose of Salmon Cove and his brothers: Will and Ed. Leaving to mourn their sad loss are his loving wife: Eliza (Clarke); two sons: Baxter (Catherine), Portugal Cove and Fred, Salmon Cove; one precious grandson: Michael, whom pop adored. Also leaving to mourn are his sisters-in-law: Mildred Rose, Olive Rose, Hazel Tucker and Christine Clarke, many nieces, nephews, special friends and relatives. Also a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at the Hoyles PCU and One East and Escasoni Two West for the exceptional care given to dad; you people are truly special. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, November 29 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove.
