BUTT, Elva L.- Passed suddenly away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, Elva L. Butt of Carbonear, age 83 years. Predeceased by husband: Frederick 1998; brothers: John and Robert; sisters: Mildred, Jessie and Elizabeth. Leaving to mourn nieces: Peggy Hiscock and Harriett Sweeney; great-nephews: Mark and Justin (godson); great-niece: Tara, also a large number of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Friday, November 21 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Freshwater, Carbonear.
