A reminder of her strong will and determination, and for the love she had for her family.

I remember Aunt Dot from my earliest childhood, from when they lived across the pond in Freshwater to the house she last lived in. I spent most every summer with my grand parents, aunt Dot"s parents, just in the road from aunt Dot. I should say I spent half of that time staying at aunt Dot"s. It was at her house that I first saw television. All of us kids with neighbours like Billy and Milly Snow, Jabez and Kate Clarke would gather to watch wrestling, what fun it was. I can still hear aunt Dot's distinctive laughter! The many times I have visited over the years she would always say, " Take time now boy for a biscuit and a cup of tea". The memories are too many to recount here but Aunt Dot will always be in my thoughts. My deepest condolences to all the family. Rest in Peace Aunt Dot!

MY Ccondolences to the Broderick family. May you find comfort in the words of Isaiah 25:8. To know that our heavenly father cares for and remembers all who have fallen asleep in death brings us such comfort. May your friends and family give you support st this sad time.

I first met my great Aunt Dot, my Mother's Aunt (Winnifred Somers), in 1970 when our family took a trip to Newfoundland. I was only 7 then and don't remember much from that time, but I've been back a couple times since and we always had many visits with her. I loved listening to her stories and reminiscing about old times. I was sorry to hear of her passing and that I won't get to hear more stories, but I'll be back...to visit.
Rest peacefully, Aunt Dot.
Love,
Terri XO
