PIKE, Iva M. - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Sunday, October 26, 2014, Iva M. Pike of Harbour Grace, age 95 years. Predeceased by husband: William; son: Gordon (Eileen); great-grandson: Dean; parents: Joseph and Mahala Burden; brothers: Wallace and Gord; sisters: Vida, Gwen and Bertha. Leaving to mourn, three sons: Wallace (Melena), Carbonear, Wayne (Norma), Prince Edward Island and Carl (Donna), Bristol's Hope; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Jean Dove and Hazel Yetman, both of Harbour Grace and Winnie Pike, Pentecostal Home, Clarke's Beach; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Tuesday at 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in the United Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
