Dear Anne and Lynne... I have never met either of you but I often heard your mother speak about you when she and your father served the Newtown/Lumsden charge. I'm sorry to hear of your mother's death. I have wonderful memories of her,as a nurse as well as from her ministry of both word and song. She was a blessing to me in many ways. Some of the most moving sermons that I ever heard were delivered by your mother. Over the years I had the urge to drop her a note but sadly I never did. Her memory lives on in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Marie Parsons.

Anne, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. My thoughts and prayers have been with you and Nathan, and especially today. If I had known before yesterday evening, Art & I would certainly have been out to pay our respects. Even though I never met her, I felt as if I had known her. I enjoyed you telling me about her and we always enjoyed reading the articles she had in the local newspaper. I love the picture on the internet. She's beautiful! I know you have many happy memories to keep you going. God Bless. Jeanie & Art

One half hour before hearing of Mrs. Winsor's passing I was reading a letter she wrote me years ago when I was ill And that was characteristic of this wonderful woman. She was always caring; always interested in how people were "getting on." Her writings and her conversation in our home will constitute fine memories for us. Together they made a fantastic team. Our prayerful thoughts are with you.

Both John and I express our deepest sympathy to Mrs.Winsor's family. When we heard of her death it caused us to reflect on how our lives were enriched by both your mom and dad's presence. In 1967 at George Street UC in St.John's they united us in marriage.During their ministry in Newtown,John was Lay reader under your father's leadership.Your mom mentored me with leadership skills in the UCW.She sang in the choir with my mom and I.Her beautiful voice, especially her tenor notes, was awesome to the ear.We have several copies of her books and they will be cherished forever. Her life was filled with God given talents and she used these talents to spread God's love in this world.God bless all of her family.

Lynn, please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your Mom.It can never be easy, regardless of the number of years you have had together.I didn't know that your mother was near the end of this part of her journey, so until I read the obituary today, I had no idea why I had dreamt about you sometime early this morning.
