COOMBS, Dorothy G.- Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, June 1, 2008, Dorothy G. Coombs of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 84 years. Predeceased by husband: Reginald; daughter: Mildred; sisters: Geraldine and Mildred; brother: John. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Ann Coombs (Gerard Quinlan), Harbour Grace; five sons: Reginald Jr. (Beth), Goose Bay, Donald (Glenda), Harbour Grace, P.J. and David, both of Riverhead, Harbour Grace and John (Denise), Mount Pearl; eight grandchildren: Ryan, Brittany, Paige, Courtney, Aaron, Zachary, Megan and Lauren; sister-in-law: Alice Stamp; special friends: Peggy and Walt Whalen; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE. Mass to take place on Tuesday, June 3 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the TCP Health Foundation or a charity of one's choice..
