Obituary of Nicholas W. Perry

PERRY, Nicholas W.- Passed peacefully away on Friday, July 27, 2007, Nicholas W. Perry of Harbour Grace, age 79 years. Master piano and organ tuner and technician. Predeceased by parents: Nicholas and Annie; parents-in-law: Herman and Ethel Taylor; brothers-in-law: Gordon Walsh, Craig Cobane, Martin Hagen and George Daniels. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 51 years, Effie (nee Taylor); four daughters: Beverley (Eric) Stolarz, Oakville, ON, Cheryl (Dennis) McCarthy and Valerie Perry, both of Harbour Grace and Peggy (Calvin) Payne, St. Phillips; two sons: Jeffrey, Harbour Grace and Scott (Renee), Spaniard's Bay; eight grandchildren: Lindsay, Leslie, Kristen, Nicholas, Lucas, Zachary, Preston and Haley; two brothers: Chesley (Ruby) and Raymond 'Nipsy', both of Harbour Grace; two sisters: Lillian Hagen, Norway and Carol Daniels, Las Vegas, USA; sisters-in-law: Marian Walsh, Wabush and Margaret Cobane, Kentucky, USA; brother-in-law: Eugene (Diane) Taylor, Harbour Grace; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE until 12:00 noon Monday, July 30. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Cremation to follow. Inurnment on Tuesday, July 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace.
