PIKE, Theodore 'Ted' Burden - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, January 2, 2014, Theodore 'Ted' Burden Pike of Harbour Grace, age 70 years. Predeceased by first wife: Lynda, daughter: Tina Dawn, parents: Edward and Vida, brothers-in-law: George Crane, Bill Holloway and Bob Holloway, sister-in-law: Yvonne Holloway. Leaving to mourn, wife: Mary; daughter: Vanessa Pike, Alberta; son: Lyndon (Amanda), Carbonear; four grandchildren; two sisters: Gladys Crane, St. John's and Joan (Ross) Coffin, Harbour Grace; two nieces: Dr. Joan Crane (David Chafe), St. John's and Nicole Coffin, Aylmer, Quebec; brothers-in-law: Jim (Margaret) Holloway, ON, Leo Holloway, Harbour Grace, Don (Debbie) Holloway, NB, Steve (Marie) Holloway and Ed (Carol) Holloway, both of Harbour Grace; sisters-in-law: Rose (Wilson) Downey, Harbour Grace and Monique Holloway, ON; special friends: Roger and Lorraine Crane; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Saturday, Jan. 4 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 5 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, January 6 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Cremation to follow. Inurnment on Wednesday, January 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Church Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation or Children's Wish Foundation.
