Bev & Denise, Sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I will always remember your mom's gentle spirit and beautiful smile, whether it was at Sunday School or church, Christmas visits or just stopping by to pick up our "french fries" (I know you'll know what that means). Our Dearest Cora, You started a new journey which has no pain, no sadness, no sorrow and no end. When you chose to walk along the path with God he promised he would be with you always. Many times during your life when you looked back, you saw two sets of footprints but at the troublesome times there was only one set of footprints, it was then that you asked why, and he told you, my precious, precious child, I Love you and I would never leave you! During your times of trial and suffering when you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered “Come To Me”. You surrendered, although we loved you, we could not make you stay. It broke our hearts to let you go. Our secret tears still flow, what it means to lose you Cora, only God will ever know. We will always love you and remember you.

Beverley and Denise , I was so very sorry to hear that your dear Mom had passed away . Please accept my condolences . Losing one's Mom is never easy ; be strong for each other and remain close to each other even though many miles separate you . I'm sure that both of you have many of the wonderful qualities that your Mom had ; she was certainly a gentle lady . Lean on your friends now ; that is not a sign of weakness .... that's what friends are for . Take care and God bless . Caryll Rossiter ( Ian's Mom )

Denise, Bev and Family, I was very sorry to hear of Cora's passing. She was such a kind and gentle woman always with a smile on her face. I will always remember her kindness to my grandmother and how both her and Gus were always there to help in any way they could...they were just like that...always giving. I last saw Cora at the Bliss Cancer Centre with Gus while mom and I were there with dad...they were always so pleasant regardless of why we were all there...they stayed positive and strong. Take comfort in knowing your mom is with your dad now and that they are free of all the pain that was hidden behind their smiles sometimes. God Bless, Nancy

Denise, Bev & Family, Our hearts are saddened today about hearing the passing of a great woman of God, a great Mom, Grandma & Friend. Your Mom was a very gentle person who we will never forget as long as we live. Always greeted us with a big smile and yes her door was always open to whoever may pop by to say hi and we would never leave without a pan of bread, a big hug, and I love you! Treasure the memories you have and keep them close to your hearts and remember she loved you with an unconditional love for all of you. Please be assured of our thoughts & prayers in these days and always know we hold you very near to our hearts. Love to all, Majors Clarence & Karen Ingram Halifax, NS

Beverly, Denise, and the Ash family, My condolences to you on the passing of your dear Mother and family member. I was so saddened to hear of her failing health over the past while. She was a kind and gentle soul who will be warmly remembered by all who knew her. Her kindness was most evident to me during her care for my ailing mother back in the 80's. I have never forgotten her warmth and compassion during those difficult times and have always kept in contact with her. Be comforted by the fact that she is now with Gus once again. My deepest sympathy to you all. May God Bless.
