Obituary of Elmer Davis

Passed peacefully away at Lanes Retirement Living, Carbonear on Sunday, February 4, 2024, Elmer Davis of Carbonear, age 96 years. Predeceased by wife: Yvonne; sister: Lillian (Orville) Hayter; brothers: Hudson (Nellie), Bruce, and Bert (Heidi); brother-in-law: Kurt Peyer. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Denise Davis, Colorado; sons: Brent (Cynthia), Carbonear, and Jamie (Alanna), Ontario; seven grandchildren: Chelsea (Dennis), Kaylee, Cody, Amber, Bethany, Juliana, and Alexander; one great-grandchild: Skye; sister: Mabel Peyer; sister-in-law: June Davis; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, March 22 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Celebration of his life to take place on Saturday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Dr. H.
