Obituary of Julia Mae King

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, on Sunday, January 28, 2024, Julia Mae King of Perry's Cove, age 97 years. Predeceased by husband: Samuel; parents: William and Harriet Reynolds; sisters: Susie Tryphena, Marion (Andrew) King; brothers: William, Warrick (Bertha); daughter-in-law: Pauline King; son-in-law: John Budden; sister-in-law: Voilet Reynolds; grand-son-in-law: Joe Swain. Leaving to mourn four daughters: Hilda Budden, Elvia (Harvey) King, Leona (Dennis) Curnew, and Brenda (Daniel) Dunphy; six sons: Hector, Alvin (Juanita), Roydon (Tiny), Frank (Laurie), John (Michelle), and Gordon (Deann); twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother: Sandy Reynolds; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Special thanks to staff of Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, two South for their loving care and professionalism. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, January 30 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 31 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Community of Faith Church, Salmon Cove. Livestream will be available through Riverside Community of faith Facebook page. Interment in Perry's Cove United Cemetery.
