Obituary of Frances Piercey

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Saturday, January 20, 2024, Frances Piercey of Carbonear, age 91 years.
Predeceased by husband: Lloyd; parents: Matthew and Mabel Dean; granddaughter: Kathryn Bowman; sisters: Emily (John) O’Brien, Evelyn (Robert) Taylor, and Livy (Charles) Snow; brother Edward Dean.
Leaving to mourn, daughter: Marilyn (Brian) Bowman; two sons: Ken (Judy) and Leslie (Vickie); five grandchildren: Stephen (Cheryl), Nicole, Michael (Heather), Lindsey, and Brooke; four great-grandchildren: Oliver, Harrison, Tyler, and Dylan; great-great-grandchild: Grayson; three step-grandchildren: Tim (Tammy), Shane, and Lindsey; six step- great-grandchildren: Jayde, Caleb, Shayla, Brady, Riley, and Rayah; sister-in-law: Jane Dean; special friends: Martina Hogan and Pauline King; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, January 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 23 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
