Obituary of Leo Sullivan

Passed suddenly away at his residence on Saturday, December 30, 2023, Leo Sullivan of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: Leo and Mary; brothers: Harold, Clar, and Ronnie; sisters: Alice McCarthy, Catherine Petten, and Cynthia Sullivan; sons-in-law: Reg Hearn and Shawn Butt; brother-in-law: Edward McCarthy. Leaving to mourn wife of 45 years, Mary; two daughters: Gloria Butt and Michelle Hearn; son: Cyril Jordan (Denise); three grandchildren: Matthew Butt (Amber), Bradley Butt (Kaela), and Sarah Hearn (Brandon); two great-grandchildren, who were the joys of his life: Brock Butt and Lennon Butt; three brothers: Gerald (Mavis), Dermott (Judy), and Joe (Judy); three sisters: Nellie Morgan (Burt), Diane Callahan (Gerald), and Elaine Porter (Jim); two sisters-in-law: Loretta Sullivan and Donna Sullivan; brother-in-law: Lorne Petten; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, January 4 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday, January 5 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, January 5 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
