Obituary of Edgar Blundon

It is with broken hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Edgar Blundon of Carbonear, age 86 years at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Predeceased by daughter: Gina; infant daughter: Stephanie; parents: Oliver and Jane Blundon. Leaving to mourn, wife: Alice; daughter: Jodi (Gary) Brennan; granddaughters: Gracie and Lily; brother: Duncan (Daphne, deceased); sisters: Linda (Aubrey) Saunders, Eva (David) Jones, Sylvia (Gordon) Skinner, Peggy (Doug) Anderson; members of Alice's family. Edgar is fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and many friends who commonly referred to him as ‘The Big E’. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, December 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial service to take place on Friday, December 29 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
