Steven and Rick....my sincerest condolences to you both, and your families. That picture of your mom takes me back to the years we spent in Harbour Grace. Your mom was a wonderful person.....just so wonderful to us when we arrived form Ontario with nothing. Her and your dad took us in, and fed us and we as kids felt like we'd found a home. Your place - and Harbour Grace - were some of the best memories I have. I remember your mom and dad, Uncle Frank, always at the table, drinking tea. They were such great role models. You could sure see how much they loved each other, and the both of you. I remember when you guys first moved in to your house - I was asleep on the couch one night and I remember your dad saying, "wow, she sure has big feet!". I'll never forget it it! I'm so sorry that you're mom has passed. She was "one of the good ones" for sure. I have only the BEST memories of her, and her great laugh and smile. She will be missed, Love to you both, Bernadette and family.

Steve and Rick and families so sorry to hear of Jessie's passing. I've known her for my whole life as I was taken to your grandparents (Sellars) house with Aunt Albertha and Uncle Eric Chubbs. That whole family was so special and I have many warm memories of them. Our condolences to you and your family and any who mourn her loss.

I’m so very sorry for your loss! Your Mom use to work at the fish plant with my Mom! They were great friends. They talked a lot even after they retired. Your Mom was a lovely person, very kind-hearted! I’m sure she’ll be terribly missed! My Mom passed 5 years ago. They had lots of stories about work, I’m sure they will be telling them again!
