Obituary of Daphne D. Legge

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, St. John's on Thursday, November 9, 2023, Daphne Legge of Carbonear age 91 years. Predeceased by husband Graham; parents: Llewelyn and Lillian Lawrence. Leaving to mourn, two sons: Graham (Judy), Carbonear and Neil (Wanda), Mount Pearl; two grandchildren: Justin (Mallory) and Jenesta (Ryan); four great-grandchildren: Jaxson, James, Blake, and Kennedy; brother: Thomas (Delores) Lawrence, Fort McMurray; two sisters: Ruth (Frank-deceased) Dawe, Bay Roberts and Joan (Fern) Davis, Carbonear; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, November 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, November 12 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear. Interment in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church, P.O Box 915, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1C4.
