I only really knew Karen through craft fairs and my aunt, but she was a gentle and kind lady, always welcoming and happy with a smile. I always loved seeing her at the craft fairs excited to see what new scents she had and knowing there would be a happy conversation to go with it. She was definitely taken far too soon and though words could never make up for your tremendous loss I know she is watching over you today and every day and she will never truly leave you. Savannah I wish you and your family all the best in these hard days to come. You deserve only the best.

I met Karen in the late 1970's early 1980's when she would stay at her grandparents house on the lower road. I lived across the street. We had many adventures in the summer collecting shells and rocks on the beach, and played lots of Barbie's. When she'd return to Toronto we'd write each other and send scratch and sniff stickers. We were 'pen pals' for years before social media was a thing. Always generous with her words and crafty talent....I was so shocked to hear she had passed.

Sending my condolences to Savannah and the Lambert family. Karen was truly one of the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Her gentle nature made it easy to be around her and she welcomed everyone with grace into the craft fair community. And this community of people will never see a craft fair the same again. She was always the first smile you seen on your way in and out of most I attended. Her talents will be missed. Her smile will be missed. Her friendship will be missed. She will be missed. May she fly high with the angels and help guide you all through the coming hardest of days. Sending much love and support to you all

Savannah, I was shocked to hear of your dear mom's passing. I know that she'll be watching over you and you will always feel her presence. Although I didn't get to know her real well outside of our time spent together in Guiding, I do know that she absolutely loved and adored you. Sending deepest sympathies to you and your family during this difficult time.
