I met Helen after she retired from Honda ,she came on board with the demo company I worked for ,I was lucky enough to be choosen to train her. We hit it off instantly and just lived a short distance away from each other..Both early risers we would message each other on face book every morning with a "good morning" A funny story that makes me still laugh is I was driving Helen in Feb at 6 am for a colonoscopy, during a snow storm on country roads, missed the exit and went to turn around and backed into a snow bank but my car wouldn't move there we are out in the storm trying to see what's going on, laughing so hard Helen said she had to pee..Suddenly a woman pulls in beside us gets out and asks if we needed help, I said I have to get her to the hospital for a colonoscopy, the woman said I"m a nurse and can take her to the hospital .,She got to her appointment on time and my husband was there to bring her home after her appt .Helen had a heart of gold,a smile that lit up any room, My dog Henry loved her to pieces as she would be our house and dog sitter when we were away.. She loved her family so much and shared so many wonderful stories about them all..Miss you so much my friend,we will meet again !

Helen was the most loving, kind, giving and sincere person in the world. She was selfless and provided our family with memories that we will forever cherish. Saying goodbye to her remains one of the most difficult tasks I have ever taken on. I know that Amanda & my Dad greeted her with full hearts, and open arms. The world lost out the day she parted. Literally all who met her; adored her. She loved her family more than herself. There was not an unkind bone in her body. My heart remains broken. Her grandchildren will never, ever forget her and the beautiful memories over the many years they were lucky enough to call her “Nan”.
Fly free, until we meet again.
Love Forever and Always,
Tammy
