Passed peacefully away on September 10th, 2023 at Carbonear General Hospital in his 87th year Boyd Whalen of Western Bay. Predeceased by his wife Marie Elizabeth (Stockwood); mother: Jennie Whalen; his parents: Earl and Sadie Whalen; brothers-in-law: James Mansbridge, Bob Wheeler, and William Crummey; parents-in-law: Blanche and Gideon Stockwood; nephew: Jeffrey Clarke. Leaving to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories, children: Terry and Gail; grandchildren: Richard, Nathan, Luc, Dale, and Jimmy; great-grandchildren: Matt, Jake, and Liv; sisters: Betty Clarke (Ross), Dorothy Crummey, and Greta Koons (Les); brothers-in-law: Leslie Stockwood (Shirley), Raymond Stockwood (Beverly), and Harold Stockwood (Marie); sisters-in-law: Jean Mansbridge, Carol Villemaire (Yves); also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Boyd touched everyone he met in a positive and personal way. He was loved by all.
