Obituary of Linda M. Shugarue

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at her residence on Friday, September 1, 2023, Linda M. Shugarue of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 72 years. Predeceased by parents: Eugene and Muriel Kelloway; siblings: John, Glen, and Darlene; parents-in-law: Bernard and Rita Shugarue. Leaving to mourn, husband: Joseph; daughter: Anita (Steven) Forward, St. John’s; two sons: Brian (Kirstan), Australia and Ken (Mary), St. John’s; four grandchildren: Felicity, Emily, Gregory, and Nathan; brother: Jerry Kelloway, Salmon Cove; sister: Beverley (Gary) Osmond, Victoria; brother-in-law: Cyril (Christine) Shugarue, St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Phyllis (Gerald) Ryan, Riverhead, Harbour Grace, Barbara (Paul, deceased) Reynolds, St. John’s and Arlene (Clarence) King, Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Our family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Community Health Nurses, Katie Dawson and Rhonda Evans, and Occupational Therapist, Jennifer Forward of the Community Palliative Care Program for their compassion and support. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, September 3 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, September 4 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, September 5 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace at a later date.
